Arjun Kochhar

2026 VOYAGER Fellowship Recipient

Arjun Kochhar (he/him) is a storyteller. Born in New Delhi, India, and raised within the four walls of a dance studio, his early training began at The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy, where he honed his versatility through a multidisciplinary education in jazz, ballet, contemporary and jazz funk. This formative experience, together with his upbringing in a family of artists, inspired him to pursue a BFA at the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance.

At USC, Arjun had the privilege of performing works by acclaimed choreographers such as Al Blackstone, Roderick George, Micaela Taylor, Jillian Meyers and Peter Chu, among others. Beyond this, he is the co-founder and creative director of the Movement in Motion Collective, a Los Angeles-based film production company that seeks to create nuanced, innovative and original dance on screen.

Arjun’s love for art drives him to create stories through movement and narrative. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Specialized Journalism (Arts & Culture) at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Looking ahead, he hopes to continue democratizing access to the arts and sharing their magic with the world.
