Briana Del Mundo
Performing Artist
Of Filipino descent, Briana Del Mundo (she/her) is a native of Calgary, Canada, currently based in New York. She is a movement artist whose work is informed by a dual foundation in creative performance and academic research. Before joining Ballet BC as an Emerging Artist for their 23/24 season, she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at The Juilliard School. Briana is currently performing with GALLIM Dance and The Metropolitan Opera. Her repertoire includes works by William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Jermaine Spivey and Spenser Theberge, Johan Inger, Imre Marne van Opstal, and Shahar Binyamini. Additionally, Briana has cultivated a growing interest in fashion and has collaborated on movement direction with Brooklyn-based designer Delfina Balda, and worked in wardrobe for New York Fashion Week. While at Juilliard, she served as a co-stylist under the direction of Marion Talan. Her creative intersections with fashion have led to features in Vogue Photo and Dick’s Sporting Goods’ CALIA Inspire campaign.
