Kyla Balser was born and raised in Utah. There she graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in dance in 2024. While studying there, she had the privilege of working with and performing works by renowned artists including Laja Field, FLOCK (Alice Klock and Florian Lochner), Omar Román De Jesús, Jesse Obremski, and Quilan Cue Arnold. She has had the opportunity to train at multiple intensive programs including SALT Link Festival, Deltebre Dansa, ImPulsTanz Festival, and Springboard Danse where she performed work by Kyle Abraham. Kyla is grateful and honored to be a part of Obremski/Works and the powerful vision and artistry it promotes.
