Leo Hishikawa

Performing Artist

Leo Hishikawa (he/him) is a Japanese artist born and raised in Queens, NY. He began his formal dance training at The Ailey School as a full-scholarship student and later attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School before earning his BFA from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance. 

He has received additional training from Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Springboard Danse Montreal, and has previously danced with Brian Brooks Moving Company and L.A. Dance Project. 

Leo has had the privilege to perform works by Kevin Wynn, Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Ohad Naharin, Marco Goecke, Adam Barruch, Celia Rowlson-Hall, and most recently performed at the MTV Music Video Awards. 

Currently based in New York City, Leo works as a freelance dancer, model and creative. 

Leo joined Obremski/Works in 2025.
